We specialise in working with NZQA accredited Tertiary Organisations, Secondary Schools and Industry Training Organisations to deliver Assessor Training courses.
Edbiz will come to your place with a course customised to your organisation, your staff, your Assessor requirements and assessment resources. Courses are available for Unit standards 4098 and 11281 (Assessor Training Course)

Workplace Assessor Training Courses
(ITOs & Workplaces)
We can design and run courses for your Workplace Assessors anywhere in NZ.
Workplace Assessor Training Courses & Assesssment
Our Assessor Trainers can work with ITOs to include your Assessor Requirements, Assessment & Moderation Policies, Procedures, Assessor Manuals and Forms and Assessment Guides into a 1 day or 2 day course for you.
If you have a standard approach to your Assessor Training we can come in and deliver your course following your design and assessment material and the we can support your Assessor Candidates after the course and work with them to submit their evidence for their unit standard assessments.
Workplace Assessor – Assessment Support Services
We can also support ITO’s who prefer to deliver their own inhouse training.
Our Assessors can verify evidence or assess the evidence portfolios submitted for the unit standards being assessed, using your assessment material.
This service is designed to help ITOs provide follow up and supoprt services as and if required for their assessor trainig course participants.
Workplace Assessor Course Requirements
Participants will need access to pre assessment moderated assessment materials. Candidate Assessor will need to be able to complete two real assessments with their candidates within 30 days of the workshop day.
Your organisation will also need to nominate an Observer, preferably an exisiting Workplace Assessor that Edbiz can work with to provide support and verify workplace evidence.
They will also need access to a computer with an internet connection, a valid email address and a landline phone we can use for any follow up conversations required and for the pre course activities.
Can’t met the minimum number of 6?
Edbiz will enter into negotiations with Workplaces or ITO’s who are prepared to make numbers up for their course by offering places and organising tutors from other Workplaces.
We will offer a discount or commission for the Workplace who organises a course in their area.

We can provide you with a quote based on either a per participant rate or we can use our day rate.

$355.50 +GST per participant
Or we have an Assessor Training Consultant Day Rate that we can use if we are coming to your place to do the training. There are no minimum numbers required for this service.
Travel & Accommodation costs will apply at cost.
NZQA Provider Assessor Training Courses
We have been running Assessor Training Courses for tutors and teachers assessing in NZQA Provider such as PTEs and Secondary Schools all over NZ.
Assessor Training Courses
Our Assessor Trainers work with you as a Provider to include your QMS Assessor Requirements, Assessment & Moderation Policies, Procedures, Assessor Manuals and Forms and Assessment Guides, Tasks and Assessment schedules into a 1 day or 2 day course for you.
We will send a pre course activity through for your staff then come to your place and deliver the course and set up the assessment arrangements for Unit 4098.
Support services for additional coaching and follow up to get the candidate Assessors’ assessment in for assessment can be included into a package. Assessments are required to have been completed within 60 days of the course.
