To organise an Assessor Training Course for your organisation start the process by using our Contact Form and giving us a summary of what you would like, how many people there will be and our Assessment Consultant will get back to you.

Course Requirements
Participants will need access to pre assessment moderated assessment materials for two assessments totalling at least 4 credits. Candidate Assessor will need to be able to complete two real assessments with their candidates within 30 days of the workshop day.

They will also need access to a computer with a internet connection, a valid email address and a landline phone we can use for any follow up conversations required and for the pre course activities.

We can design and run courses for your Workplace Assessors anywhere in NZ.

Workplace Assessor Training Courses & Assesssment

Our Assessor Trainers can work with ITOs to include your Assessor Requirements, Assessment & Moderation Policies, Procedures, Assessor Manuals and Forms and Assessment Guides into a 1 day or 2 day course for you.

If you have a standard approach to your Assessor Training we can come in and deliver your course following your design and assessment material and the we can support your Assessor Candidates after the course and work with them to submit their evidence for their unit standard assessments.
 

Workplace Assessor - Assessment Support Services

We can also support ITO's who prefer to deliver their own training.

Our Assessors can verify evidence or assess the evidence portfolios submitted for the unit standards being assessed, using your assessment material.

Edbiz is interested in working with a limited number of larger PTEs, National Industry Groups,  ITPs and ITOs on a contract basis rather than our per participant rates.
 
We also can provide Contract Services to ITO's, ITP's and PTEs who get us to deliver or assess part or all of their assessment and moderation training.

Can't met the minimum number of 6?
 
Edbiz will enter into negotiations with Workplaces or ITO's who are prepared to make numbers up for their course by offering places and organising tutors from other Workplaces.
 
We will offer a discount or commission for the Workplace who organises a course in their area.

NZQA Provider Assessor Training Courses

 
We have been running Assessor Training Courses for tutors and teachers assessing in NZQA Provider such as PTEs and Secondary Schools all over NZ.

Assessor Training Courses

Our Assessor Trainers work with you as a Provider to include your QMS Assessor Requirements, Assessment & Moderation Policies, Procedures, Assessor Manuals and Forms and Assessment Guides, Tasks and Assessment schedules into a 1 day or 2 day course for you.

We will send a pre course activity through for your staff then come to your place and deliver the course and set up the assessment arrangements for Unit 4098.
 
Support services for additional coaching and follow up to get the candidate Assessors' assessment in for assessment can be included into a package. Assessments are required to have been completed within 60 days of the course.

Our  Assessor Training Courses provide the learning and resources to meet the  outcomes for:
 
Unit Standard 4098 v5
 
Unit Standard 4098 v5 & Unit Standard 11281 v4 (Integrated)
 
  Unit Standard 11281 v4 & Unit Standard 18203 are available on request for those who will be training to support an Assessor or become an Evidence Verifier.
 
The skills sets involved and knowledge required are not as indepth as what Workplace Assessors are expected to hold so we include this training in a seperate course.
