NZQA Unit Standard 11551 Overview:

This unit standard is intended for use by experienced assessors who wish to extend their skills and knowledge of assessment.

People credited with this unit standard are able to: moderate assessment materials; verify assessment decisions; and follow moderation administration requirements.

Entry information:

Recommended: Unit 4098, Use standards to assess candidate performance; and Unit 11552, Design and evaluate assessment materials; or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.

Evidence:

Minimum evidence requirements for this unit standard are moderation of: two different sets of assessment materials for the same or different standards; and four assessor decisions.

Unit Standard Summary:

Element 1 – Moderate assessment materials.

Element 2 – Verify assessment decisions.

Element 3 – Follow moderation administration requirements.
